Throughout my 30’ year career - I’ve directed award-winning movies, TV shows, music videos, documentaries, and more. I’ve been drawn to explore all filmic disciplines.
My back catalogue includes ‘Sione’s Wedding’ and ‘The Panthers’; award winning music videos for artists like Scribe, Bic Runga, Trinity Roots and Savage. Doco series ‘NZ Hip Hop Stand Up’, ‘Tribal’ and also long form docos like ‘Scribe - Return of the Crusader’ & ‘Kia Ora, Good Evening’ about Mike McRoberts, plus shed-loads of TV commercials and branded content as doco portraits.
My superpower is talent-direction - I love bringing out the best in each person I work with to deliver the most authentic results. I’ve directed everyone from A-list international actors, to musicians and non-actors, and even getting award-winning performances from kids who’ve never acted before. I draw the absolute best out of everyone I get the chance to direct, and tell their story as authentically as possible.
